Express yourself in fashion!

While growing up i never honestly cared what was in fashion ( especially the 90's ) or what to wear to school etc. Once i got into 9th grade it changed a bit more when i met my someone who later became my best friend than ex-friend lol! but anyway's she inspired me to wear anything i wanted and to get creative with it. I loved hot topic clothes, the black rocker pants with chains, the corsets and spiked jewelry. I love everything about it but my family didn't approve of the look and my older sister NEVER approved of it. But my best best who loved that style too, we both always swapped clothes. Years later and i still love the punk/goth rocker look but with a more adult girly if you may so say twist to it ;), it also helps that one of my good friends now has a blog about fashion and she adores the same style as well and were always talking about such. With all that said even with a small background here are some outfit sets I've done. I'll also put my friends blog down below. This is one of my fav outfit. Shirt was purchased in Hot Topic. , Cardigan was purchased at Ross , Pants i found on clearance in Ross , Shoes found on clearance in Ross and spiked them myself , Spiked necklace and bracelet's purchased from Hot Topic , Thick silver chain bracelet was a handmade gift from one of my friends , Clutch purse was clearance from Ross and added the skull stud on myself. Dress clearance from Ross , Shoes were found in thrift store and studded myself , Spiked necklace and bracelet's purchased from Hot Topic , Thick silver chain bracelet was a handmade gift from one of my friends , Wallet Clutch was purchased from Ross and studded myself.

My very own coffee nook in the works!

ADDICTED TO COFFEE!!! I grew up on coffee drinking cafe con leche from a baby bottle until now :), being Cuban it's hard not to simply fall in love with this addictive substance that is "COFFEE!". So moving into our new place in Virginia i had a little kitchen computer area that i wanted to do something with it and not for computer (stupid idea to begin with), so i first thought of wine bar but really I'm not much into wine to really enjoy it 100% and than one day i was looking on hgtv and i saw this little area in the kitchen that is called "coffee nook". An idea was born! :, so with that i straight ahead went with plans on making it myself and so far so good!, all i want to do to the area is paint a red frame around the coffee cups hanging on the wall.

My dresser makeover!

Well me and my hubby just moved and I'm starting on getting together our new home and on a HUGE! budget to the point it's ridiculous. So with that I've been hawking down Craijslist almost everyday finding the best deals i can including thrift stores and not too long ago i found this ugly nasty dresser for $40. I purchased it and me and my roommate fixed it together, he had to remove all the drawer slides and completely replace them and i painted the entire thing knobs and all. With all that hard work this was the result!, i'm so proud on how it came out and i wanted to share it. You can also find it on hgtv.
